A fun Estate Wedding in Mala

Wow – what a fun Estate Wedding Majo and Ernesto had in Mala, Peru.

Ernesto is a colleague and friend of good friend of mine who put us in contact. We met at Starbucks and instantly clicked. I know that their wedding was gonna be a fun one. They changed their wedding plans a bit on the way and ended up at an amazing location in Mala. A private estate of a friend of theirs with a beautiful house where Majo was getting ready, with enough space for a huge tented reception and a beautifully set up open air ceremony next to it. Great backdrop where ever I looked. Lots of green, horse stables, flowers, hedges and everything under a perfectly blue sky.

When Majo was almost done with Makeup and Hair, Ernesto arrived with their dog and ring bearer Tomas to get ready separately. Shortly after the guests started to arrive and the ceremony became crowded. Even after putting on her wedding dress Majo seemed to remain relaxed and just looking forward to having great day.

Ernestos little jokes and the contagious laughter of the Bride and Groom the whole ceremony was extremely funny. The portrait session was not very different. Lots of jokes, laughter and everything came together naturally. For the last photo at the horse sables we almost sacrificed the bouquet as one of the horses thought it looked pretty yummy 🙂

Yet the reception was the most fun part of it. You could feel everyone there was close to the bride and groom and everyone just wanted to have a good time or even just go crazy. I think the photos will tell more than a 1000 words here.

Es difícil poder escribir lo que uno siente en ese día, y es mil veces más difícil poder captarlo en una foto, y eso es lo que has hecho a la perfección. No podemos esperar a ver todas las fotos porque sabemos que serán ALUCINANTES! Te mandamos un beso y un abrazo respectivamente, y de nuevo, GRACIAS! – Majo y Ernesto”
