This beautiful New York Rooftop Wedding is the first Wedding I have shot in New York and actually it was the first time for me to visit New York. So I came a few days early for some additional Engagement Sessions in Brooklyn. Bride and Groom, Ursula and Pascal, only hired me a few months before their wedding. We met through a mutual friend, the international Event Designer Arturo de Noriega / La Fete, who also designed and organized their rooftop wedding in the New York Ramscale Studio in West Village.
Ursula and Pascal and their two kids are from Peru as were most of the guests. So it was a New York destination wedding where most guests of their intimate wedding flew in to be with them on their special day. Both work in the wedding industry producing candles of all forms and shapes for events. Many guests were wedding vendors as well. So they were very much involved in the planing, organization and realization the days before the wedding.
Ursula got her make up done inside the Wedding Location and Pascal got ready at a nearby hotel. The intimate and personal ceremony was held in the afternoon on the rooftop of the Ramscale Studio overviewing the Hudson River. From there we took the couple portraits in the streets within walking distance with some wedding photos at the famous Highline. And then went back for the rather informal reception full of little details and exclusive decoration that lasted long into the night.
